Lane7 opened a brand new ten-pin bowling and arcade venue in Manchester on 17 May, in line with the next key date on the government’s lockdown exit plan.

As well as ‘immersive’ games of bowling, with light triggers and event triggers when a player scores a strike, the venue will also have a karaoke experience with private rooms, retro arcade games, and a brand new shooting pod concept – where guests can ‘unleash fire’ in a private booth. There will also be other social games on offer, with the venue home to pool and beer pong tables, as well as shuffleboard, ping pong, and darts.

The aesthetics for Lane7 have moved away from the retro American theme that has become the norm for bowling alleys across the UK, bringing a more Mancunian, industrial look to the new venue. As well as having an in-house burger restaurant, guests will also get to enjoy table service at each lane, with classic milkshakes, cocktails, and craft beers.

“We’re excited to introduce Lane7 to Manchester this spring, after a tough year we’re all overdue a good night out and that’s where we come in to welcome you to our extravagant world of all things fun! Come in grab a delicious bite to eat, sip on some amazing drinks, have a round or two of first-class bowling and immerse yourself in some games,” said Lane7’s COO Graeme Smith. “Whether with friends, family or colleagues our mission is to create an unparalleled atmosphere where you can just let loose. Our team’s role is to make you feel right at home, we pride ourselves on our incredible service and that’s what will make your time here one to remember. We can’t wait to bring Manchester the night out it deserves!”

Lane7 is currently open for outdoor dining, however, will finally open its doors when restrictions end next week.
