Coin-op amusements news | 24 lanes at new US bowling FEC

The new Pennsylvania FEC 814 Lanes and Games in Johnstown, which has three attractions from Creative Works, is now open.

The development, an overall project masterminded by specialist turnkey project company Amusement Entertainment Management, covers 40,000sq.ft and is owned and operated by brothers Bobby and Chris Hogue. It has 24 lanes of bowling and a wide range of games in the arcade.

The Creative Works introductions of laser tag, VR experiences and escape rooms are accompanied by a wide range of F&B amenities and spaces for corporate or family events.

AEM managing director Jerry Merola began working with the owners as far back as 2018 on the project, taking it from feasibility studies through financing, construction and opening.

Merola said: “Bobby and Chris Hogue have worked so hard during what is arguably the most difficult time in our history in bringing this project to fruition.”
