UK trade association BACTA has launched a Miles for Smiles initiative designed to keep locked down members active and raise money for its own Charitable Trust.

The initiative is running from this month until the end of March and members will be encouraged to log their exercise on a milesforsmiles.uk website, whether type of exercise taken, walking in the park, cycling or on a static bike.

Members are encouraged to take part individually or in teams of four. Their progress will be reported through the website and, at the same time, donations for the charity will be clocked up by the individuals or by their employer.
