Coin-op amusements news | Indian entertainment centres reopening

With a Covid-19 infection rate lower than most other countries, in terms of incidents by population, India is beginning to reopen its retail and entertainments.

Most of the shopping malls are now open and with them the IECs (indoor entertainment centres, as FECs are known in India), theme parks, cinemas and other entertainment locations. Some capacity restrictions may apply locally, but it varies by state.

Currently, only Delhi and Jharkhand remain with restrictions. Industry forces are working on those two states to try to bring them into line with the rest of the country.
