One of the biggest names in kiddie rides in the international market, Falgas, has filed for bankruptcy in Spain.

In the Girona commercial court, Falgas Comercial has been registered as insolvent, sending shock waves through the international coin-operated amusement sector. Falgas is one of the best-known kiddie ride manufacturers in the world.

We understand that, at the moment, the company is continuing to function after what insiders told us was “a disastrous 2020,” made so by the Covid-19 pandemic. Falgas is still open for the sale of rides and spare parts that are currently in stock.

We understand owner Joaquim Falgas, who is in his late 70s, is planning to go into retirement and the administrators currently controlling the company will sell the business.
