Enthusiastic Big Buck Hunter fan Ben Devine from Houston, Texas, US, has featured in an interview with the maker of the game, Raw Thrills, about his home arcade.

Devine, who operates Cordyne, an electrical supply and manufacturing company, has a full-scale arcade in his home and numbers hunting and fishing among his hobbies.

He and son Austin have several video games and pinball machines in their guest bedroom.

“I was an Atari kid and grew up spending quarters on video games at the corner store,” he said. “Having a video game at home was always a dream of mine. That is where it started many, many years ago. Once I got my first game, I was hooked. The collection has grown over the years and now my son has taken a big interest in playing the games. That gives an even bigger return on investment than I could have ever imagined.”

He says his favourite Raw Thrills titles are Big Buck Hunter and Batman, with the Reloaded version of the hunting game topping his list of favourites.

“Being a big kid myself, I have always had a love for video games. Having Raw Thrills arcade games in our home has provided endless hours of great entertainment, family time, stress relief and fun. Some of the biggest enjoyment I have received from the games is watching others play and enjoy themselves. Watching my 10-year-old son play Big Buck Hunter with his grandparents has to be the best enjoyment ever.”

Raw Thrills is running a series of interviews with private home owners who have their own games. The company has experienced a sharp rise in sales of games to home-owners.
