A new retro arcade is to open in the £2.5bn Elephant Park regeneration, bringing over 30 original arcade cabinets to London’s Elephant and Castle.

The 3,268 sq ft unit on Ash Avenue – the area’s “emerging F&B, lifestyle, and leisure precinct” – will be operated by Four Quarters, and also features vintage console booths.

“We are very pleased to have signed at Elephant Park; the perfect local destination within which to expand our offer,” said Four Quarters co-founder Marc Jones.

“Four Quarters brings the nostalgia of arcade gaming with a top-notch selection of locally-sourced craft beers and bespoke cocktails, something we are certain Elephant and Castle’s new and existing community will adore – exactly the kind of fun we all need given the year we’ve all had!”

As well as the arcade offering, which includes two projection-screen gaming areas, Four Quarters Elephant Park will also feature a bar and kitchen, and forms the brand’s third venue alongside its Peckham and Hackney Wick outposts.

“Four Quarters know the south London audience well and will pick up on the growing demand for competitive socialising concepts, whilst tapping into the sense of nostalgia that appeals to all generations,” said head of place assets at Lendlease, Guy Thomas.
