Coin-op amusements news | Easing of lockdown in England and Wales

As of today, two households or groups of up to six people can meet outside in England, with Wales allowing its people to travel anywhere within its national borders.

The long-term plan is to get England back to normal, removing all lockdown elements, by June, with non-essential retail, including FECs and arcades, possibly opening on April 12.

Wales is the first UK country to permit its people to travel anywhere within its national borders. It is also permitting its citizens to meet up to six at a time from two households, outside. Its borders to citizens from neighbouring England, however, remain closed. The country’s non-essential retail, including FECs and arcades, may reopen from April 12.
